Profession linking
Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 07/21/2008 - 09:46Yes, it's true. You will be able to link your whole profession, so players can search for recipes you can make. It works realy simple, you just link your profession like it were an item, someone clicks on it and a regular Profession Window will pop up.
Here is a picture how it looks like:

I belive this change will be very handy for Enchanters, Jewelcrafters and Inscribers, linking your full recipebook should help you to sell enchants, gems, inscriptions a lot faster and finaly this change will stop those spammy trade channel macros.
WotLk - Passive buffs for gatherers
Submitted by Anonymous on Sat, 07/19/2008 - 09:46It looks like Blizzard is ready to give us some love, at least for Skinners and Miners, and not just for the players who have crafting professions. I found two new interesting spells in the wotlk wowhead database:
- Toughness - Mining
- Master of Anatomy - Skinning

Please note that these buffs are passive. 35 stam all the time for all the great masters miners, and 25 crit rating for Grand Master skinners. Each of these skills have six level, which I have to correspond to the six rows of professional target group: apprentice, journeyman, expert craftsmen, master, and the new grand masters.
To bad there is nothing for herbalism yet, maybe it's not implemented yet or there won't be anything becasuse several herbs are already give nice buffs.
Anyway this is a realy good change , and I do hope we see something for herbalism.
Wrath of the Lich King - NDA Lift
The NDA has been lifted for WotLK. wowhead WotLK site is already open, you can check it out here.
Finaly we have some information about the new profession called Inscription. At the site mentioned above, you can see some of the new Inscription spells. As you can see, Inscription will use Herbs as base materials. It's almost the same as Jewelcrafters have Prospecting. When you learn Inscription you will learn a new spell called Milling.
The tooltip says:
Crush 5 herbs to create pomace for making inks. This will destroy the herbs in the process.
I already started to buy the low level herbs from the auction house, because I belive the prices will skyrocket after the expension will be released, and I can make a lot of gold by selling the Herbs at higher price.
