Engineering Leveling Guide 1-450

Engineering Leveling Guide 1-450 is completed now. I am very disappointed with the leveling process. Blizzard seem to have put in cockblocks into every primary profession in WotLK. Engineering 435-450 is a joke, you are forced to make one single recipe because there is no other option.
At the moment there is only 2 epic recipes you can craft at 450. I feel like it was not worth to level my Engineering. The epic helm at 440 is nice, but for some of the classes - or maybe for all of them - the Naxxramas drops are better, and Naxxramas is not that hard at all.

I agree and it's not just Engineering either all of them are lack-luster and I don't get the logic behind it not to mention it will take me well over 200 days to get all of the JC designs WTF doesn't make sence to me

It makes sense if your Blizzard. If your a die hard collector, that's 200 days of money they will be squeezing out of you.
You can also buy those JC
You can also buy those JC daily gems from other players, they don't bind. It won't take you that many days.
Blizzard said before that they didn't intend for profession pieces to be the end all of gear (consider frozenshadow weave and how it lasted for so long). They don't want people to feel "forced" into a profession to get the best items. They want people to do professions they enjoy.

It really is very strange that there is literally only 2 recipes to get you up to 450. Either the army knife or your epic goggles. Now obviously you aren't going to make 15 epic goggles, so you only have 1 choice and its green.

Thanks for a very useful
Thanks for a very useful guide. It helped a great deal after respeccing my profs from mining / blacksmithing to mining / engineering. The mining guide was also excellent in finding te ores i needed to level my engineering in places that i had long forgotten about.

I somewhat miss a mdified
I somewhat miss a mdified version of the guide, that involves lvling the profession up when you start out as 375.
Maybe I overlooked soemthing, but I strikes me as odd, that I have to undergo the same process when lvling from 375 as if I was doing so from 350.
Otherwise great stuff.
You can use this if you are
You can use this if you are at 375 too. Cobalt Bolts and Blasting powder won't give you skillups, but you will need them later no matter what your current skill level is.
