Darkmoon Faire Profession Quests

There's an event called the Darkmoon Faire that shows up once a month, starting at 00:01 on the Sunday before the first Monday of each month. During this event, you can complete quests for each of your professions.

Skill and Knowledge Point gains

The Darkmoon Faire profession quests grant +2 skill points and +3 Knowledge Points. These quests can be completed every month.

The skill points will automatically apply to the most recent expansion's profession progress that isn't maxed out yet. So, if you haven't leveled your War Within profession to 100, the skill points will go towards that..

It's best to complete these quests when you're at 98, or at least between 90-100. This is typically the most expensive and slowest part for most professions.

However, if you want the +2 skill points in Classic Mining and have already learned other expansions' profession skills, you'll need to max out all of them first. This way, the +2 skill points will go to Classic Mining since it will be the only one not at its maximum.

Where is the Darkmoon Faire?

The Darkmoon Faire takes place on Darkmoon Island. You can access the island through portals located in the following places:

You can find the portal to the Darkmoon Faire in Mulgore at the base of Thunder Bluff.

Some of the quests require additional items, but you can buy all of them from vendors. Don't buy them from the Auction House.

Before heading to Darkmoon Island, make sure to buy these items for your profession quests. They're not available on the island, so forgetting them will mean a trip back to Elwynn Forest or Mulgore.

 The Fizzy Faire Drink is sold by the Quest Giver.
Blacksmithing Baby Needs Two Pair of Shoes Yebb Neblegear You can find an Anvil besides Barum.
Enchanting Putting Trash to Good Use Sayge You can't actually use your Disenchant ability on the items. Just right click to use them.
Engineering Talkin' Tonks Rinling You will need to look around the faire grounds for broken down tonks, they are dead on the ground and their name will be grey.
Inscription Writing the Future Sayge If you forget to buy your Light Parchment and you have either the Yak or Mammoth vendor mount, you can mount up and buy them from the vendor on your mount.
Jewelcrafting Keeping the Faire Sparkling Chronos Bit of Glass look like broken green/blue bottles on the ground. They are all over the island.

Loose stones are along the edge of the main path, primarily in the grass. If you zoom in and look along the sides of the path, you should see them sparkling nearby.
