This guide will show you how to complete the new profession quests to unlock the new epic recipes added to the game in Season of Discovery Phase 3.
1. Ashenvale Nightmare Incursion
Go to the Ashenvale Nightmare Incursion and head south of the Warsong Lumber Camp. Eventually you'll gain the 
Aura of Paralyzing Dread debuff. Once that happens, you can turn around and exit the Nightmare Incursion.
Once you have the debuff, speak to Field Captain Hannalah. Click through the dialogue options, then pick up the quest 
An Amalagamation of Nightmares.
2. Moonglade
Go to Moonglade and speak to Loganaar and pick up Itharius.
3. Swamp of Sorrows
Go to Swamp of Sorrows and speak to Itharius inside the cave. Complete the quest and pick up Going Under.
4. Sunken Temple Raid
You will need to progress through the new Sunken Temple raid to complete the Going Under quest.
The completion trigger is between Dreamscythe & Weaver and Jammal'an the Prophet. The quest gets completed in the corridor between the two boss areas.
5. Return to Swamp of Sorrows
Return to Itharius inside the cave to complete step 4 and pick up Return to Moonglade.
6. Return to Moonglade
- Go back to Moonglade and speak to Loganaar.
- After turning in the quest, a Shadowy Figure will spawn next to Loganaar.
- Speak to the Shadowy Figure next to you to pick up A Fortuitous Turn of Events.
- Speak to Shadowy Figure again and progress the dialogue and pick up The Bad News....
7. Booty Bay Inn
Go to Booty Bay and speak to Injured Gnome located on the middle floor of the Salty Sailor tavern inn, on a bed next to the Rogue trainer.
Progress through his dialogue to complete the quest. Pick up The Lost Vambraces.
8. Jaguero Isle in Stranglethorn Vale
Go to the Jaguero Isle in Stranglethorn Vale and find Itty Bitty Murloc.
Click the Small Burrow next to him and complete your quest. You will get a 
Decharged Void-Powered Vambraces.
9. Return to Moonglade
Go back to Moonglade and speak to Shadowy Figure. Turn in The Bad News... and pick up Waking the Nightmare.
Your Decharged Void-Powered Vambraces will turn into Void-Powered Vambraces.
10. Return to Ashenvale to kill Nightmare Amalgamation
- Equip the Void-Powered Vambraces.
- Go back to the Ashenvale Nightmare Incursion where you received the debuff in step 1.
- With the bracers equipped, the debuff caused by the Nightmare Amalgamation monster will not affect you and you can defeat it. But you will need at least a 5 man party to kill him. (Roughly 5 min respawn)
- Make sure to loot the
Mantle of Nightmares from the corpse!
11. Return to Moonglade again
Go back to Moonglade and speak to Shadowy Figure. Turn in Waking the Nightmare and the quest chain will be complete.
You will receive a Inert Mantle of Nightmares.
12. Learning the recipes
Speak to the Shadowy Figure again with at least 250 profession skill to learn the new recipes.
