Midnight Profession Knowledge Treasure Locations

In the new Midnight expansion, you'll find profession treasures scattered across Quel'Thalas that grant +3 Profession Knowledge for your professions. This guide provides a complete overview of all Midnight Profession Knowledge Treasure Locations currently available.

Work in Progress: This guide is based on the Midnight Beta. Not all treasures have been discovered yet.

TomTom Addon

While it's not mandatory, I highly recommend using the TomTom addon to make collecting these treasures much easier. TomTom is a super helpful addon that simplifies finding NPCs or objects when coordinates are provided, which you'll often see in my guides and elsewhere.

You can download TomTom from cursforge, or if you use the curseforge app just install it inside the app.

How to Use TomTom Addon

Once you've downloaded and installed the TomTom addon, you can easily use the /ttpaste command in-game to open a window where you can paste the list of "/way" commands listed under each profession.

Here's how to do it step by step:

Copy the list of "/way" commands from the guide for your chosen profession.
Switch back to WoW and type /ttpaste into the chat. Make sure there’s no space before it, and include the /.
Paste the list of "/way" commands into the window.
Press the "Paste" button at the bottom of the window.
Now, you'll see little green dots on your world map, indicating the treasure locations. There will be two for each zone.

If this doesn't work for you, you can also copy and paste the lines one by one into your chat without using the "ttpaste" command. Like this:

Guide Notes & Troubleshooting

Profession Requirements

You can loot these treasures with just Skill 1 in the Midnight profession tier. You do not need max skill. Collecting these is the fastest way to gain Knowledge Points early on.

Note: Treasures grant Knowledge, not Skill. To unlock your first Specialization, you must still raise your Profession Skill to 25 via crafting.

Treasure Checks

If you use TomTom, paste the command blocks into the /ttpaste window. Use the provided /run scripts to check if you've already looted an item ("true" means collected).

Can't see the treasure?

Treasures usually appear as icons on your minimap when you are nearby. If you are at the correct coordinates but the object is missing, check the following:

Inside Buildings: Treasures inside buildings and caves often do not appear on the minimap. Trust the coordinates and search the room.
Vertical Movement: The treasure won't show up on the minimap if it is too high above or below you. You might need to find a cave entrance or go upstairs.
Wrong Profession Tier: Ensure you have learned the Midnight version of the profession from a trainer in Quel'Thalas.
Already Looted: Use the /run scripts provided in each section to check if you have already collected the item.

Are these treasures account-wide?

No, they are character-specific. You can collect them on every alt that has the profession to jump-start their knowledge.
