BfA Patch 8.1 - New Profession Recipes

Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengence goes live on December 11. / 12. (US/EU).

General Changes

• Darkmoon Faire quest-based skillups now apply automatically to the most recent expansion profession progress that is not at its maximum.
• Professions-related World Quests now have a chance to reward Expulsom.
• Herbalism World Quests now have a chance to reward Anchor Weed.

New Crafting Materials

There are two new soulbound crafting materials: [Tidalcore] and [Breath of Bwonsamdi].

• [Tidalcore] in drops Heroic and Mythic dungeons and is used for crafting the new epic 385 item level gear.
• [Breath of Bwonsamdi] drops from bosses in the new raid Battle for Dazar'alor and used for crafting new epic 400 and 415 item level profession gear.

The release date of the new raid is January 22, so you can't get [Breath of Bwonsamdi] until then.

Alchemy

• [Aqueous Dilution] - Convert [Tidalcore] into [Hydrocore].
• [Sanguinated Dilution] - Convert [Breath of Bwonsamdi] into [Sanguicell].
• [Transmute: Herbs to Anchors] - Transmute herbs into Anchor Weed.
• [Potion of the Unveiling Eye] - Slightly increases your stealth detection for 10 min.
• [Vial of Obfuscation] - Removes the negative effect imposed by the Stealth mission type.

New ilvl 370, 385, 400, 415 Alchemy trinkets. You will need to craft the lower ilvl trinkets to get the recipe for the higher ilvl ones.

• [Mechantula] - New pet [Mechantula].
• [Sinister Combatant's Discombobulator] - ilvl 340 Mace
• [Sinister Combatant's Stormsteel Destroyer] - ilvl 340 Gun

New set of ilvl 370, 385, 400, 415 leather, cloth, mail, and plate googles. You will need to craft the lower ilvl goggles to get the recipe for the higher ilvl goggle.

For example [Imbued Bionic Bifocals] is an ilvl 370 goggle that you will learn at Engineering 120, and after you craft one, you will discover the ilvl 385 version: [Emblazoned Bionic Bifocals]. These goggles require [Sanguicell], so you can craft them as soon as 8.1 hits, but ilvl 385 is the highest you can craft from these (there is a new goggle recipe for every armor type)

The other set of Goggles require the new materials [Tidalcore] and [Breath of Bwonsamdi].
