Often the materials are based on a case that you will gain one skill point each craft. This won't happen, so you will have to buy a few extra materials while you are leveling your Cataclysm Inscription.
If you are low on gold, I recommend you to try this Gold Making Guide, it can help you to make loads of gold.
If you are still leveling your character or you just started a new alt, I recommend you to use a leveling guide. You can level your character to level 120 in 8 days with this guide.
Approximate Materials Required :
Mill around 180 from these: Cinderbloom, Stormvine, Azshara's Veil, Heartblossom, Twilight Jasmine, Whiptail
Leveling Cataclysm Inscription
First, visit any trainer in the main cities of old Azeroth - just ask a guard, and learn Cataclysm Inscription.
Nightborne characters have +15 Inscription skill because of their passive [Ancient History]. An extra 15 Inscription skill means recipes stay orange for 15 more points. You can save a lot of gold by doing lower level recipes for 15 more points.
- 1 - 60
Go to Uldum and kill Schnottz Infantrymans around the Obelisk of the Moon until you get the recipe [Technique: Origami Beetle]. (You can kill any other mobs in Uldum, but these are in packs of 10, so you can get the recipe really fast)
Important note: Make sure you check your bank if you had Inscription while you were leveling, you might already have this recipe in your bank, and it won't drop a second time.
100 x [Origami Beetle] - 300 x Light Parchment
You can buy [Light Parchment] from the vendor near your Inscription trainer or at any general goods vendor.
- 60 - 61
1 x [Forged Documents] - 1 x Light Parchment, 1 x Blackfallow Ink
This recipe has 1 day cooldown, so you could make it more than once if you wait.
- 61 - 75
14 x [Research: Blackfallow Ink] - 42 x Blackfallow Ink
I hope you liked this Cataclysm Inscription leveling guide, congratulations on reaching 75!
