This Dragonflight Enchanting leveling guide will show you the fastest and easiest way how to level your Dragonflight Enchanting skill up from 1 to 100.

New Dragonflight Enchanting features

There are a lot of new stats added to professions in Dragonflight, so here is a quick explanation for some of these.

Recipe Difficulty

Recipe Difficulty shows you how much profession skill is required to make a recipe at the highest quality. Your can see your current profession Skill below the Recipe Difficulty stat. Your Skill comes from your base profession skill, specializations, profession equipment, racials, and using high-quality reagents. So, your profession skill can go well above 100.

Item Quality

Every new Dragonflight enchant has 3 different qualities. If you have higher Enchanting skill, you can make higher-quality enchants with more stat.

Inspiration, Multicraft, Resourcefulness

  • Inspiration: Each time you craft something, there is a chance you get Inspired and craft the recipe with some bonus profession skill, so you can craft an item with higher quality than you could normally. This stat is only helpful when you craft recipes with higher Recipe Difficulty than your current Skill.
  • Resourcefulness: You have a chance to use fewer reagents.
  • Multicraft: You have a chance to craft additional items. (doesn't work on crafted gear, only consumables and reagents)

Dragon Isles Enchanting Knowledge

Dragon Isles Enchanting Knowledge points are the "talent points" you can put into your profession specialization to learn new skills, stats, and bonuses.

Shopping List

These are the approximate materials required to reach 55. The 55-100 part is not included because there are many alternatives from Renown and Specializations, so I think buying them later is better.

Leveling Dragonflight Enchanting

Racials

Blood Elf and Kul Tiran characters have +5 Enchanting skill from their racials traits.

Any extra Enchanting skill means recipes stay orange for more points. You can save a lot of gold by doing lower-level recipes for more points.

1 - 2

Buy a Serevite Rod from Enchanting Supply Vendors. If you are leveling in Valdrakken, you can buy it from Andoris. (standing near the trainer)

1x Runed Serevite Rod - 1x Serevite Rod, 3x Chromatic Dust

Equip the Runed Serevite Rod.

Disenchanting

If you have any leftover gear from questing, dungeons, world quests, etc. Disenchant them before you start leveling as disenchanting can give you skill points up to 25.

First Craft Bonus

You will get 1x Dragon Isles Enchanting Knowledge talent point each time you craft something for the first time. Dragon Isles Enchanting Knowledge is valuable and has a weekly cap from other sources. So, instead of leveling enchanting and then going back to craft grey recipes, this leveling guide is designed to get the "First Craft Bonus" from everything while they give you skill points. 

2 - 5

Enchanting Vellum

You should put all enchants on an Enchanting Vellum and try selling them at the Auction House.

When making the enchants, you can choose the Vellum as the "Optional Target" in your profession window, so you don't have to click the vellum each time manually. If you are leveling in Valdrakken, you can buy them from Andoris. (standing near the trainer)

5 - 15

Make another 6-7 from any of the Writ Ring Enchants. I'll use the crit one as an example. (skip this below if you are already above 15 because of disenchanting)

7x Writ of Critical Strike - 21x Chromatic Dust

15 - 21

Equip the Runed Draconium Rod. Sell the Runed Serevite Rod. You won't need it anymore.

21 - 25

You might have to make more Bracer enchants if you don't reach 25.

Enchanting Specializations

When you hit 25, you will unlock Enchanting specializations.

Which Specialization to choose first?

I recommend choosing Enchantment as your first specialization. (you can learn all 3 as you level up your profession)

You will need 50 skill points to unlock the second specialization and 75 for the third.

Where should you put your Dragon Isles Enchanting Knowledge points?

Put 10 Dragon Isles Enchanting points into the Enchantment specialization. Learn the Primal sub-specialization then pick one of the sub-specializations to learn a weapon enchant recipe.

25 - 31

Make another 3 from any of the Writ Cloak Enchants. I'll use Leech as an example.

3x Writ of Leech - 24x Chromatic Dust

31 - 35

4x Devotion of Versatility - 20x Chromatic Dust, 12x Vibrant Shard

35 - 40

Make another 2 from any of the Devotion Ring enchants. I'll use Haste as an example.

2x Devotion of Haste - 10x Chromatic Dust, 6x Vibrant Shard

40 - 50

Make another 8-9 from any of the Illusory Adornments. I'll use Fire as an example, but you can make the other ones if those Rousing Elementals are cheaper.

8x Illusory Adornment: Fire - 16x Chromatic Dust, 16x Rousing Fire

50 - 55

These recipes are much more expensive than the previous ones, but I still think it's worth crafting at least one from each for the "First Craft Bonus".

55 - 65

Make around 13 more from any of the Writ Weapon enchant recipes. I'll use Earthen Wit just as an example.

13x Earthen Writ - 195x Chromatic Dust, 26x Resonant Crystal, 52x Awakened Earth

All of them will be yellow, so you might have to make more than 7. You should stop making them at 65 if you reach it with fewer crafts!

Alternative Recipes

These recipes are much cheaper than the trainer recipe. If you can buy any of the below recipes, you should use them instead of the Writ Weapon enchant recipes.

Put 10 or 20 Dragon Isles Enchanting points into the Enchantment specialization. Learn the Primal sub-specialization then pick one of the sub-specializations to learn a weapon enchant recipe.

They will be green for the last few points, so it's hard to tell how many you must make. You will have to make around 30-40 from one of them.
