Tenebrous Ribs Farming Guide

I made this Tenebrous Ribs farming guide to help out players who want to farm meat instead of buying them from the Auction House. I traveled around the Shadowlands to search for places with a high density of mobs that drop Tenebrous Ribs. Below you will find a list of places I think are the best for farming Tenebrous Ribs.

Tenebrous Ribs

Tenebrous Ribs

One mob can't drop more than one meat, and the drop rate of Tenebrous Ribs and other Shadowlands cooking ingredients are a lot lower than the BfA cooking materials drop rate was. Don't expect getting as much meat as in BfA!

The best way to get a lot of Tenebrous Ribs is farming Bloodtusk Alphas and Predatory Bloodtusks at Maldraxxus. The respawn rate is not that fast, so you will have to make a larger loop around the area.

The Tufted Bonesnout also drop Tenebrous Ribs, so make sure to kill those too when you see them, but there are only a few of them there.

This spot in Ardenweald is also a great place to farm Tenebrous Ribs. Runestags, and Juvenile Runedeer both drop Tenebrous Ribs.

If you are farming meat for Tenebrous Crown Roast Aspic, you should also kill the Greater Ardenmoth around this area because they drop Creeping Crawler Meat. (you should kill them anyway so you can sell the meat)

Bastion - 1

I got a decent number of Tenebrous Ribs from farming any mobs that look like a horse around this area. The mobs are really spread apart and you have to move back and forth a lot, but I just simply haven't found a better farming alternative yet.

Bastion - 2

Same as the previous area, the mobs are really spread apart and you have to move back and forth a lot.

Note: Gilded Cloudstriders and Cloudstrider Grazer drop Aethereal Meat and not Tenebrous Ribs.
