- 7x Heavy Leather Ball - 14 Heavy Leather, 7 Fine Thread
The pattern is sold by these NPCs.
155 - 165
20x Cured Heavy Hide - 20 Heavy Hide, 60 Salt
You will need the Cured Heavy Hides later.
Below you can find an alternative way if you don't have any Heavy Hides at all, which is usually the case since Heavy Hide has a pretty low drop rate. But if for example, you can get 5 Heavy Hides, you should stop making Barbaric Leggings at 195 and start making Guardian Gloves.
- 155-180 - Heavy Armor Kit - 175 Heavy Leather
- 180-190 - Guardian Pants or Barbaric Leggings - 156 Heavy Leather, 26 Bolt of Silk Cloth or 100 Heavy Leather, 10 Moss Agate

40x Nightscape Headband - 200 Thick Leather, 80 Silken Thread
You need a bit more Silken Thread to make these than the Thick Armor kits, but you can sell the Headbands to the vendor for a lot more, so they are cheaper than making the armor kits.
235 - 300
15x Nightscape Pants - 210 Thick Leather, 60 Silken Thread
25x Rugged Armor Kit - 125 Rugged Leather
28x Wicked Leather Bracers - 224 Rugged Leather, 28 Black Dye, 28 Rune Thread

300 - 325
30x Knothide Armor Kit - 120 Knothide Leather
The recipe will be yellow, so you might have to make a few more.
You can make them up to 330 because the recipe is still yellow at that point, but you will need to craft some Heavy Knothide Leather for leveling Leatherworking anyway, so the 325-335 part is basically "free".
325 - 335
66x Heavy Knothide Leather - 330 Knothide Leather
You can stop making Heavy Knothide Leathers when you reach 335 and make the rest of them later.
335 - 350
22x Thick Draenic Vest - 66 Heavy Knothide Leather, 66 Rune Thread
It will be yellow for 10 points, so you might have to make a few more to reach 350.
You can buy Rune Thread from the Leatherworking supply vendor near your trainer.
18x Scaled Draenic Boots - 36 Heavy Knothide Leather, 36 Fel Scales, 54 Rune Thread
The Scaled Draenic Boots can be a good alternative if you can get cheap Fel Scales.
The recipe will be yellow for the last 5 points, so you might have to make a few more to reach 350.
WotLK Classic Leatherworking (350-450)
You can learn the new WotLK Classic Leatherworking skill from these trainers below. (Requires level 65)
Both factions can also learn it from Diane Cannings at Dalaran.
350 - 410
Transform all your Borean Leather Scraps into Borean Leather if you are a Skinner. Do not right-click the Leather Scraps, there is a recipe that you can learn from your trainer that gives you skill-ups; use that. It's basically free skill points.
35x Borean Armor Kit - 175 Borean Leather
6x Arctic Boots - 48 Borean Leather
4x Arctic Gloves - 40 Borean Leather
300x Heavy Borean Leather - 1800 Borean Leather

- 13x Dark Frostscale Leggings - 52 Heavy Borean Leather, 65 Crystallized Water

425 - 435
13x Overcast Handwraps - 130 Heavy Borean Leather, 13 Eternal Water
This recipe will be yellow, so you might have to make more or fewer.
435 - 440
You might need to make more of these than 5 because the recipes will be yellow.
- 5x Frosthide Leg Armor - 10 Arctic Fur, 10 Nerubian Chitin, 5 Frozen Orb
- 5x Icescale Leg Armor - 10 Arctic Fur, 10 Icy Dragonscale, 5 Frozen Orb
440 - 450

Congratulations on reaching 450! Please send feedback about the guide if you think there are parts I could improve or if you found typos, errors, or wrong material numbers!
