This Lichbloom and Icethorn farming guide will show you the routes I use for farming Lichbloom and Icethorn in Wrath of the Lich King Classic. These two herbs share spawn points, so the farming routes are the same.
Lichbloom and Icethorn

Storm Peaks
The best zone for farming Lichbloom and Icethorn is Storm Peaks. Due to the nature of the zone, effective farming is practically impossible without a flying mount. Therefore it's not desirable to farm these herbs without a flying mount.
Icecrown
Icecrown is a great alternative if a lot of players are farming in Strom Peaks.
Wintergrasp
You can also farm Lichbloom and Icethorn in Wintergrasp, but they share spawn points with Frozen Herbs, so you will also get Goldclover, Tiger Lily, and Talandra's Rose
