Cataclysm Alchemy Leveling Guide 1 - 75

This Cataclysm Alchemy leveling guide will show you the fastest way to level your Cataclysm Alchemy skill up from 1 to 75 as inexpensively as possible. 

Often the materials are based on a case that you will gain one skill point each craft. This won't happen, so you will have to buy a few extra materials while you are leveling your Cataclysm Alchemy.

Approximate Materials Required

• 85x Cinderbloom
• 15x Azshara's Veil
• 25x Heartblossom
• 45x Volatile Life
• 27x Twilight Jasmine
• 60x Whiptail
• 15x Alicite
• 15x Zephyrite and 15x Azshara's Veil OR 15x Nightstone and 15x Twilight Jasmine

Cataclysm Alchemy leveling

First, visit any trainer in the main cities of old Azeroth - just ask a guard, and learn Alchemy.

Goblin characters have +15 Alchemy skill because of their passive [Better Living Through Chemistry]. An extra 15 Alchemy skill means recipes stay orange for 15 more points. You can save a lot of gold by doing lower level recipes for 15 more points.

• 1-5
  5 x [Draught of War] - 5 x Cinderbloom

  This recipe will be yellow, so you might need to make more than 5.

• 5-10
  5 x [Ghost Elixir] - 10 x Cinderbloom

  This recipe will be yellow, so you might need to make more than 5.

• 10-15
  5 x [Volcanic Potion] - 5 x Cinderbloom, 5 x Azshara's Veil

• 15-25
  10 x [Elixir of the Cobra] - 10 x Cinderbloom, 10 x Azshara's Veil

  This recipe will be yellow between 20-25, so you might need to make more than 10.

  You can also make [Deepstone Oil] between 20-25 and then turn the Deepstone Oils into [Mysterious Potion]. You should reach around 27 with this method.

• 25-30
  5 x [Elixir of Deep Earth] - 10 x Heartblossom

• 30-35
  5 x [Elixir of Impossible Accuracy] - 10 x Heartblossom, 10 x Cinderbloom
  
  Make [Prismatic Elixir] if Whiptail is cheaper than Heartblossom.

• 35-40
  5 x [Mythical Mana Potion] - 5 x Cinderbloom, 5 x Whiptail

• 40-45
  5 x [Golemblood Potion] - 5 x Heartblossom, 5 x Volatile Life

  You can keep making [Mythical Mana Potion], if you don't have Volatile Life.

• 45-60
  27 x [Mythical Healing Potion] - 27 x Twilight Jasmine

  This recipe will be green between 55-60, so you might need to make more than 27.

Transmutes

You will need a Philosopher's Stone to transmute gems; you don't have to have it equipped; you just need to have it in your inventory. Alchemy trinkets from every expansion work as a Philosopher Stone, so you can make any of them if you don't have one yet.

• 60-65
  5 x [Flask of Titanic Strength] - 40 x Volatile Life, 40 x Cinderbloom, 40 x Whiptail

  You can also make [Transmute: Ember Topaz] if you can find cheap Hessonite or [Flask of the Winds] if you have some Azshara's Veil left.

• 65-70

  Make 5 from one of these:

  • 5 x [Transmute: Demonseye] - 15 x Nightstone, 15 x Twilight Jasmine
  • 5 x [Transmute: Ocean Sapphire] - 15 x Zephyrite, 15 x Azshara's Veil

• 70-75
  5 x [Transmute: Amberjewel] - 15 x Alicite, 15 x Whiptail
