This page lists everything WoW Forever adds or changes for Herbalism compared to Classic: the new herbs, the Scarce materials, the seeds and the Herbalism camp items.
If you want to level Herbalism, check out my WoW Forever Herbalism leveling guide.
Quality of Life Changes
There are a few quality of life changes for Herbalism in WoW Forever compared to Classic:
- Every starting zone has a Herbalism trainer now, but these Junior Herbalism Trainers only teach up to 75.
- The starting areas have Wilted Peacebloom and Stunted Silverleaf, so you can start picking herbs right away.
New Herbs
WoW Forever added three new herbs and three Scarce materials. You can't pick the Scarce materials, you have a chance to get one while picking other herbs.
| Herb | Where |

| Earthroot, Mageroyal, Briarthorn and Stranglekelp | |

| Not known yet, probably higher level herbs |
Seeds
You can also find seeds while picking herbs. There are four tiers:
Commonplace Herb Seeds,
Uncommon Herb Seeds,
Unusual Herb Seeds and
Scarce Herb Seeds. You can plant them in a Greenhouse to grow herbs, or combine them in a Seed Hybridizer to get a rarer tier. (both are Herbalism camp items, see Camp Items below)
Camp Items
Incense Candle, Greenhouse and Seed Hybridizer are the Herbalism camp items. You can place them next to a Campfire, and you can read more about camping in my Camping guide.
