This WoW Forever Fishing leveling guide will show you the fastest way to level Fishing from 1 to 300. Fishing takes a lot of patience, you will have to catch a lot of fish to get from start to finish, but you don't need any materials, only a Fishing Pole and a few lures.
Below you will find every Fishing trainer by starting zone and capital city, where to fish for each skill range, and how to learn Expert and Artisan Fishing. Fishing Trainer Locations
Apprentice Fishing has no level requirement in Forever right now, so you can learn it on a fresh character. Every trainer also teaches Journeyman Fishing, so you don't have to find a different trainer at 50.
Capital Cities
Every capital city has a trainer. You can also ask a guard, then it will be marked with a red flag on your map.
Horde trainers:

Starting Zones
Every starting zone has a Fishing trainer, and they all stand next to water, so you can start fishing right away.

How to Fish in WoW Forever (1-75)
Buy a 
Fishing Pole and a few 
Shiny Bauble from any Fishing Supply or Trade Supply merchant, most Fishing trainers sell them too.
- Open the Professions window.
- Click on the hammer button in the row of buttons on the right side of your screen, NOT the Fishing tab.
- Drag the
Fishing button from the Fishing box to your action bar. - Equip your Fishing Pole and apply the Shiny Bauble lure.
- Go to any starting zone and look for a lake, pond or river. Stand in front of the water and press the fishing button.
- Mouse over the bobber in the water, and when it splashes, right-click on it.
- Fish until you reach Fishing 75.
Starting zones: Dun Morogh, Durotar, Elwynn Forest, Mulgore, Teldrassil, Tirisfal Glades
Remember, starting zones do not include capital cities!
75-150
Go back to your trainer and learn Journeyman Fishing. It requires Fishing 50 and level 10.
Fish until 150 in one of the capital cities:
- Darnassus
- Stormwind City
- Orgrimmar
- Undercity
- Thunder Bluff
You can fish in any of these zones too: The Barrens, Darkshore, Ironforge, Loch Modan, Silverpine Forest, Westfall.
If the fish keep getting away, buy 
Nightcrawlers from a Fishing Supply vendor. They need Fishing 50.
150-225
You can learn Expert Fishing from the 
Expert Fishing - The Bass and You book (requires level 20 and Fishing 125) sold by Old Man Heming at Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale. He is in the middle of Booty Bay at the very bottom, near the fishing sign. You can also buy the book from the Auction House.
Buy a bunch of 
Bright Baubles from Old Man Heming before you leave.
Go to Dustwallow Marsh, apply Bright Baubles to your Fishing Pole and fish until 225.
I recommend fishing in Dustwallow because the Artisan Fishing quest starts there, but you can fish in these zones too: Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Desolace, Stranglethorn Vale, Swamp of Sorrows, and Thousand Needles.
Learning Artisan Fishing
To train Fishing past 225, you must complete the quest 
Nat Pagle, Angler Extreme from Nat Pagle in Dustwallow Marsh.
It requires level 35 and Fishing 225.
To complete the quest, you have to catch 4 quest fish in four different zones:
Feralas Ahi - Feralas
Misty Reed Mahi Mahi - Swamp of Sorrows
Sar'theris Striker - Desolace
Savage Coast Blue Sailfin - Stranglethorn Vale
Use Bright Baubles when you are fishing in Feralas to stop the fish from getting away. You don't need any lures in the other zones because your Fishing skill is high enough by then.
Nat Pagle, Angler Extreme quest
225-300
After you completed the quest, fish in any of these zones:
- Felwood
- Feralas
- The Hinterlands
- Tanaris
- Un'Goro Crater
- Western Plaguelands
You will have to use Bright Baubles in these zones to stop the fish from getting away!
