WoW Forever Enchanting Leveling Guide 1-300

This WoW Forever Enchanting leveling guide will show you the fastest and cheapest way to level your Enchanting skill from 1 to 300. You will also find every trainer location and where to train Enchanting past 75, 150 and 225.

Enchanting goes well with Tailoring because you don't need a gathering profession for either of them, and you can disenchant the items you made with Tailoring. Below you will find the shopping list, the Enchanting trainers by starting zone and capital city, and the cheapest enchants for every skill range. Forever added a few new low level recipes, so the first 70 points are cheaper than in Classic.

These numbers are estimates. Once a recipe turns yellow you won't get a skill point from every craft, so you might need a few more or a few less.

Enchanting Trainer Locations

Apprentice Enchanting has no level requirement in Forever right now, so you can learn it on a fresh character.

Capital Cities

Every capital city has a trainer. You can also ask a guard, then it will be marked with a red flag on your map.

Starting Zones

Only two starting zones have a trainer, the table shows the closest one for each race.

Enchanting Macro for Faster Leveling

This macro presses the Create button for you and confirms the prompt that asks if you want to replace the enchant already on the item, without any extra clicks.

How to Use

In Forever you enchant your own gear instead of a vellum, so you need a piece of gear for the slot the enchant goes on, for example your own bracers for a bracer enchant.

1. Place the macro on your action bar
2. Open your Enchanting profession window
3. Select the enchant you want to craft (make sure it's the right one)
4. Put the item you want to enchant into the optional target slot
5. Press the macro repeatedly

This method lets you level much faster without having to click Create and confirm the replace prompt manually each time.

Apprentice Enchanting (1-70)

  1x Runed Copper Rod - 1 Copper Rod, 1 Mote of Magic

  Both the Copper Rod and the Mote of Magic are sold by Enchanting Supply vendors near your trainer, don't buy them from the Auction House.

  18x Enchant Bracer - Inferior Stamina - 18 Mote of Magic

  Buy the motes from the Enchanting Supply vendor, they cost a few copper each.

• 20-70
  50x Enchant Chest - Inferior Stamina - 50 Strange Dust

  You can also disenchant green items instead of buying the dust.

Journeyman Enchanting (70-150)

You can only train Enchanting past 75 if you learn Journeyman Enchanting. It requires Enchanting 50 and level 10, and not every trainer teaches it, you have to find an Expert Enchanter.

  If Lesser Magic Essence is cheaper than 2 Strange Dust, make Enchant Chest - Minor Absorption until 90 instead (1 Lesser Magic Essence each).

  Silver Rod and every other rod in this guide (Golden, Truesilver, Arcanite) is made by Blacksmiths, you can buy them from the Auction House.

  10x Enchant Cloak - Minor Protection - 20 Strange Dust

  Make whichever is cheaper:
  • 20x Enchant Cloak - Minor Agility - 20 Lesser Astral Essence
  • 20x Enchant 2H Weapon - Minor Impact - 20 Strange Dust, 20 Small Glimmering Shard

  Enchant Cloak - Minor Agility formula is sold by Kulwia (Horde) in Stonetalon Mountains and Dalria (Alliance) in Ashenvale. It's bind on pickup in Forever, so you can't buy it from the Auction House.

  Buy Formula: Enchant Bracer - Lesser Strength from them too, you will need it after 150.

  20x Enchant Bracer - Lesser Stamina - 20 Soul Dust

  If Soul Dust is expensive, make Enchant Boots - Minor Stamina instead (4 Strange Dust each), it stays orange until 150.

  Learn Expert Enchanting before you get to 150, the trainers are in the next part.

Expert Enchanting (150-225)

To become an Expert Enchanter you need Enchanting 125 and level 20, then find an Expert Enchanting trainer. It costs 50 silver.

There is only one Expert Enchanting trainer for each faction. Hgarth in Stonetalon Mountains at Sun Rock Retreat is the Horde trainer, he is up on the hill above the village. Kitta Firewind in Elwynn Forest is the Alliance trainer, she is at the top of the Tower of Azora.

  14x Enchant Bracer - Lesser Strength - 14 Soul Dust

  This is the formula you bought at 110.

• 165-185
  22x Enchant Boots - Lesser Agility - 22 Soul Dust

  Yellow from 180, so the last few points take a couple more.

  If 1 Lesser Mystic Essence is a lot cheaper than 1 Soul Dust, make Enchant Bracer - Spirit instead (1 Lesser Mystic Essence each), it's orange until 185.

  Forever Beta: it's probably worth making these a lot more times, until 200 or even further, because Vision Dust is expensive right now with the level cap and Soul Dust is not.

  The enchant is yellow the whole way, so buy enough dust for around 30-35.

  5x Enchant Cloak - Greater Defense - 5 Vision Dust

Artisan Enchanting (225-300)

The Enchanting trainers in the capital cities only teach you up to 225. To train Enchanting past 225 you need level 35 and Enchanting 200, then learn Artisan Enchanting from Annora in Uldaman (I explain below how to find her). She is the only trainer who teaches Artisan Enchanting.

There are a few recipes only Annora teaches, so bring enough gold to learn every recipe and enough materials to reach Enchanting 250, otherwise you have to go back to Uldaman for the higher recipes. Around 100 Vision Dust gets you to 250.

How to enter Uldaman

Uldaman is in the Badlands and it has two entrances, use the back entrance. You can't solo it at level 35, so go with a party or ask a level 60 to help.

How to find Annora

Annora only spawns once you kill every mob in the area she is in!

Don't forget to learn everything from Annora before you leave Uldaman! The recipes from 230 up are taught nowhere else.

  Yellow from 240, so you might need a few more.

  Try to find Formula: Enchant Bracer - Greater Stamina at the Auction House. It's a random world drop, but it's the best recipe from 245 to 265, 3 Dream Dust each.

  20x Lesser Mana Oil - 20 Dream Dust, 20 Purple Lotus, 20 Crystal Vial

  Formula: Lesser Mana Oil is sold by Kania in Silithus, she is upstairs in the inn. Crystal Vial is sold by Mishta in Silithus or any other trade supply vendor.

  Yellow from 260, count on a few extra.

  If you don't have Purple Lotus, make Enchant Bracer - Greater Strength instead (1 Dream Dust, 2 Lesser Nether Essence each), Annora teaches it.

• 265-294
  30x Enchant Shield - Greater Stamina - 180 Dream Dust

  Formula: Enchant Shield - Greater Stamina is sold by Daniel Bartlett in Undercity and Mythrin'dir in Darnassus. It's bind on pickup, so don't buy it on an alt.

  Yellow from 285, so the last 10 points take more crafts.

  1x Runed Arcanite Rod - 1 Arcanite Rod, 1 Golden Pearl, 10 Illusion Dust, 4 Greater Eternal Essence, 4 Small Brilliant Shard, 2 Large Brilliant Shard

  Formula: Runed Arcanite Rod is sold by Lorelae Wintersong in Moonglade at Nighthaven. She also sells the next formula you need, buy both before you leave.

  5x Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense - 40 Illusion Dust

  Formula: Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense is sold by Lorelae Wintersong in Moonglade too.

  You can keep making Enchant Shield - Greater Stamina instead if you have a lot of Dream Dust or Illusion Dust is really expensive.
