WoW Forever Alchemy Leveling Guide 1-300

This WoW Forever Alchemy leveling guide will show you the fastest and cheapest way to level your Alchemy skill from 1 to 300. You will also find every trainer location and where to train Alchemy past 75, 150 and 225.

Below you will find the full shopping list, the Alchemy trainers by starting zone and capital city, and the cheapest recipes for every skill range from Apprentice to Artisan. Alchemy is best combined with Herbalism, with these two you can save a lot of gold because you don't have to buy the herbs from the Auction House.

Shopping List

These numbers are estimates. Once a recipe turns yellow you won't get a skill point from every craft, so you might need a few more or a few less.

• 9x Peacebloom or 9x Silverleaf (whichever is cheaper)
• 45x Silverleaf
• 85x Peacebloom
• 55x Earthroot
• 75x Mageroyal
• 60x Briarthorn
• 35x Stranglekelp
• 160x Empty Vial
• The list stops at 150. With the beta level cap where it is, that is as far as most people will get for now. I will extend it when the cap goes up.

Alchemy Trainer Locations

Apprentice Alchemy has no level requirement in Forever right now, so you can learn it on a fresh character.

Capital Cities

Every capital city has a trainer. You can also ask a guard, then it will be marked with a red flag on your map.

Not every zone has a trainer, the table shows the closest one for each race.

Dwarf, Gnome	Dun Morogh	There is no Alchemy trainer in Dun Morogh, go to Vosur Brakthel in Tinker Town in Ironforge
Night Elf	Teldrassil	Cyndra Kindwhisper in a small house east of the inn in Dolanaar
Skyborne	Zephras Isle	Iaadaria Bitterwind or Valiena Swiftgale in Valanaar, Nyassa Swiftdraught in Shen'dar Village

Apprentice Alchemy (1-55)

• 1-10
  9x Minor Arcane Elixir - 9 Peacebloom, 9 Empty Vial

  Or 10x Elixir of Minor Force (9 Silverleaf, 9 Empty Vial), whichever herb is cheaper.

  The vials are sold by Alchemy Supply vendors, most trainers have one nearby. In Undercity the closest one is Algernon.

• 10-55
  45x Elixir of Minor Defense - 45 Silverleaf, 45 Peacebloom, 45 Empty Vial

  The last few points are yellow, so you might need a few more.

Journeyman Alchemy (55-150)

You can only train Alchemy past 75 if you learn Journeyman Alchemy. It requires Alchemy 50 and level 10, and not every trainer teaches it, you have to find an Expert Alchemist.

  10x Minor Mana Potion - 10 Mageroyal, 10 Peacebloom, 10 Empty Vial

• 65-90
  27x Elixir of Minor Fortitude - 54 Earthroot, 27 Peacebloom, 27 Empty Vial

  The elixir turns yellow at 80, so the last 10 points take a few more crafts.

• 90-120
  30x Elixir of Wisdom - 30 Mageroyal, 60 Briarthorn, 30 Empty Vial

  Keep the elixirs if you also level Tailoring, the Gloves of Meditation need them.

  (Horde only) Make Holy Protection Potion instead if you can get the recipe, 1 Bruiseweed and 1 Swiftthistle each, it stays orange until 130. The recipe is sold by Hula'mahi at the Crossroads.

• 120-150
  35x Lesser Mana Potion - 35 Mageroyal, 35 Stranglekelp, 35 Empty Vial

  Yellow from 145, so you might need one or two more.

Expert Alchemy (150-225)

To become an Expert Alchemist you need Alchemy 125 and level 20, then find an Expert Alchemy trainer. It costs 50 silver.

You can learn Expert Alchemy from Doctor Herbert Halsey in Undercity (Horde) and Ainethil in Darnassus (Alliance).

Artisan Alchemy (225-300)

To train Alchemy past 225 you need Alchemy 200 and level 35, then find an Artisan Alchemy trainer. You can learn it from Rogvar in Stonard, Swamp of Sorrows (Horde) and Kylanna Windwhisper in Feathermoon Stronghold, Feralas (Alliance).
