Often the materials are based on a case that you will gain one skill point for each craft. This won't happen, so you will have to buy a few extra materials while you are leveling your Pandaria Jewelcrafting.
Leveling Pandaria Jewelcrafting
Go to Pandaria and find Mai the Jade Shaper in The Jade Forest at Greenstone Village, then learn Pandaria Jewelcrafting.
Draenei characters have +10 Jewelcrafting skill because of their passive [Gemcutting]. An extra 10 Jewelcrafting skill means recipes stay orange for 10 more points, so you can save a lot of gold by doing lower level recipes for 10 more points.
1 - 60
Every uncommon gem recipe you learn from your trainer will stay orange up to 50, yellow until 55, and green until 60 when they stop giving skill points. You will learn new ones at 5, 10, 15, 20, and so on.
Buy around 80 from any of the gems below (it can be all from one kind or a mix of all of them), then make gem recipes up until 60.
60 - 61
These researches below will teach you a new recipe which you will have to make 14 times in the next step.
The gem color of this recipe will be the same as the gems you used for the research. You should choose the one that you have materials for.
Gem researches to discover a new recipe:
- [River's Heart] - 3 x River's Heart
- [Sun's Radiance] - 3 x Sun's Radiance
- [Vermilion Onyx] - 3 x Vermilion Onyx
- [Wild Jade] - 3 x Wild Jade
- [Primordial Ruby] - 3 x Primordial Ruby
- [Imperial Amethyst] - 3 x Imperial Amethyst
61 - 75
Cut 14 rare gems from the learned recipe.
If you don't have this many rare gems from one color, just wait one day and make another gem research. Or just use [Secrets of the Stone] because it doesn't have a cooldown, but Spirit of Harmony can be expensive and a lot harder to farm.
Check out my Spirit of Harmony Farming Guide, if you want to farm Spirit of Harmony.
I hope you liked this Pandaria Jewelcrafting guide, congratulations on reaching 75!
